KSR 2009

On Sunday, 2009 June 16th, I became a youth counselor at KMCC(Korean Martyrs Catholic Center).

If you go to church, you should be familiar with what I am going to tell you.

As a counselor, each of us have to come up with plans for kids who is coming to KSR(KMCC Summer Retreat).
Kids who are going to the retreat will be between 6th grade to 8th grade.(Age 12~14)
All plans must relate to our theme which is Together as One.
Our first Meeting is on June 18, 2009 which gives me only a limited time to come up with related activities based on our theme, however, the retreat is on July 16th ~ July 18th.

July 16~July 17: Retreat+lots of fun activities and teaching
July 18: Field Trip( Haven't decided, but ideas on this would be also great.)

There are two significant reasons why I am posting this on my Devjournal.
1) Self-Daily Record
2) New Creative Ideas

1) Personal record of of occurrences, experiences, and reflections relating to KSR and as a youth counselor.

2) I need to think of ideas for KSR, hopefully, I need church related activities that we,the counselors, can incorporate in our KSR.
What I am asking for is ideas, any ideas would be appreciated.
Think of a fun/spiritual education for kids to strengthen their spiritual life.
Also, pick a scripture in the Bible that relates to our theme, "Together as One"

I am pretty sure that almost no one is going to respond, but it is worth a try. :)

As usual, it's a busy week, but I'm looking forward for tommorow. (Going to some Spa place with bunch of people)


A break from DA?
Ha ha I need it too.
I only been here for few weeks, but DA takes so much of your daily time.
Always with comments, looking around for other fellow good deviants, and working on my own stuff.
I have a good reason why I am here, but still... lots of time is spent. :noes:
But, I hope you log in time to time, not taking a complete seperation from DA. :)

The creator left along time ago and I've sort of taken charge by default.

If you sent a note about joining then the admin in charge of new members and rules questions should be getting back to you soon. I take care of submissions and the overall running of the club. :nod:
